Ian is a writer and  author living in the Lake District. 

Transitioning from pouring pints to penning books, he has become 

a published author and academic on grief therapy. 

His journey from grief to healing, empowered by a Ph.D. and

a passion for literature, has yielded works that provide solace to

grieving parents who have lost children, adults who have lost a loved

one and children who have lost cherished pets. Living with his wife,

Susan, and their dog, Kadie, Ian finds inspiration in the Lakeland

landscape and in the lives of his family
