Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background as a writer?

Absolutely! I’ve always been an avid reader, which naturally led me to writing. I grew up in a small town where the local library was my haven. After college, I pursued a career in marketing but never let go of my dream to write. I started writing short stories and eventually published my first novel five years ago. Since then, I've been lucky enough to write full-time.

What inspired you to write your latest book

The inspiration came from a combination of personal experiences and historical events. I’ve always been fascinated by the stories my grandparents told about their lives during the war, and I wanted to capture some of that resilience and emotion in my writing.

How do you develop your characters? Do you base them on real people?

Developing characters is one of my favorite parts of writing. I often start with a basic archetype and then layer on traits, quirks, and backgrounds as the story unfolds. While some traits might be inspired by real people I know, the characters themselves are purely fictional. They take on lives of their own as the story progresses.

What is your writing process like? Do you follow a strict routine?

I try to maintain a daily writing routine to keep the momentum going. I usually start my day with a morning jog, which helps clear my mind. Then, I spend a few hours writing, followed by a break for lunch. In the afternoon, I revise what I wrote in the morning and outline the next chapters. However, I’m flexible and adjust my schedule as needed.

How do you handle writer's block?

Writer’s block can be challenging, but I’ve found a few techniques that work for me. Taking a short break and doing something completely different, like cooking or hiking, often helps. I also keep a journal where I jot down random ideas, which sometimes sparks new inspiration. Reading books by other authors I admire also reignites my creative energy.

What themes do you explore in your books?

I enjoy exploring themes of resilience, human connection, and the complexities of life. My stories often delve into the characters' emotional journeys and how they overcome obstacles. I believe these themes resonate with readers and reflect real-life experiences.

Can you share a memorable moment from your writing career?

One of the most memorable moments was when I received an email from a reader who said my book helped them through a tough time in their life. Knowing that my writing had a positive impact on someone is incredibly rewarding and reminds me why I started writing in the first place.

What advice would you give to aspiring authors?

My advice would be to write regularly and not be afraid of making mistakes. The first draft doesn’t have to be perfect; it just needs to be written. Also, read widely and often, as it helps you understand different writing styles and techniques. Finally, believe in yourself and your story—persistence is key.

What are you currently working on?

I’m currently working on a new novel that explores the relationship between two sisters separated by distance and time. It’s a story about family, forgiveness, and the power of memories. I’m very excited about this project and can’t wait to share it with my readers.

Where can readers find your books and connect with you?

Readers can find my books on major online retailers like Amazon, Barnes
