John Strong Sr
Born in a small steel-town in Pennsylvania, John grew up a loner and an outcast due to his illness of epilepsy which had adverse effects on his behavior and emotional growth. He did have a very deep love of books and especially fiction and astronomy. As a young adult, he had the dream of becoming a writer and author, but was afraid of pursuing his dream out of not knowing how to get published and not wanting to be rejected again. Finally, at age 54, John found his way and produced his first novel out of soon to be many that will fascinate the mind.

A small group of co-workers starting their day at work, find thereselves in the midst of a catastrophic economical collapse that forces them to flee the big city and use their skills to traverse the wild, while becoming closer like a family.
